I was born in Västra Frölunda, a suburb of Göteborg and lived in Göteborg until I started my university studies at Linköpings Tekniska Högskola. I now live in Lambohov in Linköping with my wife Martha and our cat Isis. I have 2 children, Alexander (21) and Gabriella (20) from my previous marriage. They are now living with their girlfriend/boyfriend in the Stockholm area.
We have a house with a garden. In my spare-time, I sing in a choir (Linköpings Kammarkör), go down-hill skiing, geocaching or trekking as well as getting onto internet (like these pages).
My present occupation is as a Strategic Product Manager for hardware and 3rd party software for OSS (Operational Support System, the management system that runs the mobile communication networks) at Ericsson AB. In this role, I make plans for the platform (servers, operating system, virtualisation, storage etc) that runs OSS, based on future plans for software enhancements, customer requirements and the competitive landscape.
I think that my particular personal strengths are that I have easy to come up with new ideas, I can synthesize a lot of different information and come up with conclusions, I have a birds view on things and have easy to sort the important issues from the less important ones. And of course I am very interested in technology.
